Google Glass Making a Fashion Statement

Google is known for initiating some really cool projects and Google Glass is definitely one of those. These revolutionary “glasses” are available to everyone now, or at least to those who can afford it. Outside of the technical issues associated with Google Glass, the one big complaint has been the appearance. It honestly looks weird to see someone wearing them. People may get a little startled if you are talking to them and a visible camera is attached to your eye wear.

Google has already taken action on this issue and has released some pretty stylish versions of Google Glass. It is even rumored that they will be teaming up with popular brands such as Ray-Ban in the near future.

In about ten days, on June 23, the Google Glass website, will be offering five fashionable frames and eight different shades. This is pretty exciting news, since it seemed that people were reluctant to wear Glass in public. I would like to grab a new pair myself when they release the new styles!

What are your thoughts on Google attempting to make Glass more stylish? Will their sales skyrocket? Or will that have to wait until the cost comes down on these pricey spectacles?
