During his junior year of college, he landed an internship in the marketing department at Logistics Plus, Inc., a 25-year old logistics company that has earned Certificates of Congressional Recognition for their service from U.S. Representative Mike Kelly and U.S. Senator Pat Toomey.
During his four months as an intern, he started learning how to generate sales leads and monitor all web activity for the company. He also crafted website content with a focus on SEO and maintained all of the company’s social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
During his time as an intern, Markiewicz worked hard to create a strong brand identity for the company that would continue to make waves, even after he went back to school.
Markiewicz made an impact on the staff at Logistics Plus, Inc., and immediately upon graduation, he was hired as a Marketing Specialist for the logistics company.

In his short time with the company, Markiewicz has stepped into the role of digital marketing guru, focusing on improving the company’s inbound marketing, social media, and website traffic.
Jumping right back into the social accounts he managed during his time as an intern, Markiewicz has made a significant impact. The company’s engagement rate and follower count have both more than doubled since he started working for them full time.
Since stepping into his role, Logistics Plus, Inc.’s LinkedIn account has grown to 16,000 followers. Their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts have also grown to over 2,000 followers each. With Markiewicz behind the wheel, the company is achieving social media success like never before.
He is also improving customer engagement and relations through a well-thought-out email marketing campaign. Open and click rates have been through the roof for Logistics Plus, Inc., often exceeding typical industry benchmarks.
His SEO strategies are working, too. In 2021, he focused on ensuring quality content was posted on the website to improve its SEO and Google ranking. Under his guidance, over 100 pieces of content were posted to the site.
His content contributions worked to increase website traffic by over 100% and SEO-driven traffic up over 55%. The company is seeing double the amount of quotes and inquiries coming through the website funnel than in 2020.

Markiewicz is improving the company’s digital marketing presence as well. In 2021, the company saw a 1500% return on investment from its marketing investments.
His strategies have led to a steady stream of conversions and over half a million dollars in profit for Logistics Plus, Inc. in 2021 alone.
With Markiewicz’s help, the company now has over $350 million in global revenue and supports more than 1,000 employees in over 30 companies.
Logistics Plus, Inc. wouldn’t be the large global company it is today with Markiewicz’s engaging content and impressive marketing strategy.
Markiewicz Is Always Trying to Improve
According to his co-workers, one of the most notable things about Markiewicz is that he is always up to improve his skill set.
While others may have let this early success go to their head, Markiewicz is as focused and driven as ever.
He is the first to admit that he still has a lot to learn in terms of the business side of the industry and is always looking for courses or webinars he can take to improve his writing and communication skills.
As far as the digital marketing front, Markiewicz is proud of the work he’s done but he knows that the company’s aspirational goal of “world domination” is still slightly out of reach. But with Markiewicz running its marketing campaigns, that goal maybe a little closer than it was yesterday.
