1. FollowerWonk
FolloerWonk is a Twitter analytics app created by Moz that allows users to keep track of who follows your account, where they are located, when they tweet and more. This tool is useful because it allows users to dig deeper into their follower base and better determine their niche as well as what and when to tweet.

2. Topsy
Another social media tool, Topsy helps users track trends by providing comparative statistics between trends or keywords that you select. You can also search for all tweets (or photos, links, etc.) since 2006 that match your query, which is way more helpful than wading through thousands and thousands of tweets on Twitter itself.

3. BuzzSumo
Similar to FollowerWonk, BuzzSumo helps you see what people are sharing in your niche. However, it’s also a great tool for helping generate content for guest blog posts and other articles. The cool thing about this tool is that it displays search results along with how many shares each link received. As social sharing becomes more and more valuable to brands and companies, seeing retweets, +1’s and more can help you better determine what works for your business.

4. Muck Rack
Much Rack is an innovative way to connect with journalists and stay on top of who is responding well to your content. It allows you to get alerts when your content is linked to, pitch to journalists and find exactly who you should be pitching your content to.

5. Localeze
Localeze offers business solutions for helping with optimized local search. Although it is not free, this tool is useful if you’re interested in managing business locations, business listings and more.

6. InfoUSA
This tool is great for email and direct marketing. Email marketing is still seen as an extremely helpful tool for both brand awareness and conversions. InfoUSA helps build email campaigns quickly and can target both businesses and consumers. If you’re still an email marketing novice, this tool can help you get your campaign off the ground.

7. Raven
Generate campaign reports easily and more efficiently with Raven SEO. Of course, there are other report generators out there including Google Analytics reporting and Moz, but Raven is quickly becoming a valuable tool for SEOs. It also has reporting for social media management and PPC campaigns.
